El ingl\u00e9s fue reelegido y tendr\u00e1 otro mandato de cuatro a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>El referente hist\u00f3rico de Los Pumas hab\u00eda generado expectativas en el mundo del rugby por ser el primer candidato sudamericano que pod\u00eda presidir la Federaci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, Beaumont logr\u00f3 ampliar la diferencia electoral en \u00c1frica y Jap\u00f3n, los sectores pendientes de esgrimir su sufragio.<\/p>\n<p>El ex jugador argentino se lament\u00f3 en las redes sociales pero agradeci\u00f3 a todos los que lo apoyaron en esta re\u00f1ida elecci\u00f3n presidencial. Por su parte, Beaumont, elogi\u00f3 a su contrincante: \u201cMe gustar\u00eda agradecer a Gus (por Pichot) por su amistad y apoyo durante los \u00faltimos cuatro a\u00f1os. Mientras nos enfrent\u00e1bamos en esta campa\u00f1a, est\u00e1bamos alineados de muchas maneras y tengo el mayor respeto por \u00e9l.
