Fue hundido por un torpedo de un submarino ingl\u00e9s, fuera del \u00e1rea de exclusi\u00f3n de las Islas Malvinas. 39 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s se sigue reclamando por aquel crimen de guerra.<\/p>\n<p>El ataque caus\u00f3 la muerte de 323 argentinos, entre ellos cuatro pampeanos, Alberto Edgardo Amesgaray, Hugo Ram\u00f3n Gatica, Daniel Enrique Lagos y Jorge Delfino Pardou,<\/p>\n<p>Frente a este hecho, el gobernador public\u00f3 que \u201cEl 2\/5\/1982 se produjo el hundimiento del ARA General Belgrano, y 323 h\u00e9roes de la guerra de Malvinas perdieron la vida.
